Pray It!
Psalm 51 is a beautiful prayer of sorrow and remorse. Take a few moments to prayerfully read this psalm and reflect on the marvelous way it asks for God's help in starting over. Remember our God is a God of second chances.
Have mercy on me, God, in accord with your merciful love;
in your abundant compassion blot out my transgressions.
Thoroughly wash away my guilt,
And from my sin cleanse me.
For I know my transgressions;
my sin is always before me.
Create in me, God,
a pure heart;
and give me a steadfast spirit;
do not cast me out
from your presence,
nor remove your holy spirit.
Give me back the joy
of your salvation,
sustain in me a willing spirit.
Open my lips, O Lord,
and I shall proclaim your praise.
Have mercy on me, God, in accord with your merciful love;
in your abundant compassion blot out my transgressions.
Thoroughly wash away my guilt,
And from my sin cleanse me.
For I know my transgressions;
my sin is always before me.
Create in me, God,

and give me a steadfast spirit;

Open my lips, O Lord,
and I shall proclaim your praise.

Do It!
Sign up in the Gathering Space to help with Family Promise at the end of March. For times a year our parish hosts homeless families for a week. We provide all the meals and transportation to and from work/school. There are many ways to help with this important project and many helpers are needed.
